ROBERT MORRISON

Robert Morrison was born in 1754 in Washington, Indiana, Pennsylvania. He served in the military with the Snowden Company, Second Regiment U.S. Levies, Lieutenant Colonel Gibson. Robert was a private between 1791 and 1792. Robert and his wife, Margaret, reared a family of five boys and two girls.

By 1826, Robert and his family had moved to Ohio and bought a land patent of about 33 acres  in Crawford and Morrow Counties, at the Whetstone Creek area and another three mile strip of land. The land was divided into seven parts for him and his heirs. But Robert died soon after this purchase, after November 1828, at the age of 74. His will was written and signed on the 18th of November of 1828 and it was filed on the 10th of February in 1830.
